Federal authorities are reducing the charges levied against a Los Angeles man accused of uploading nine pre-preleased Guns N’ Roses songs. Kevin Cogill’s attorney said a plea deal may be in the “offing.” The reduced charges mean Cogill faces a maximum one-year prison term, compared to five years.
